Floyd Kirkpatrick

Floyd Calvin Kirkpatrick, 63 of Smiths Grove, Ky formerly of Tuscola, IL passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Cone Funeral Home 1510 Campbell Lane in Bowling Green, Ky. Pastor David Hobdy will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 pm to 7 pm on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 and from 9 am Wednesday until time of service. Cremation will follow funeral services. Floyd was born on March 14, 1956 in Decatur, IL. He was the son of George Junior and Fernie May (Matthews) Kirkpatrick. He is survived by his special friend, Micki Piper of Smiths Grove, KY; two children, Annette (Phillip) Hutcherson of Tuscola, IL and Cathy (Jim) Means of Tuscola, Il; four grandchildren: Samantha (David) Cook of Kansas, IL, Hunter Hutcherson of Tuscola, IL, Finnigan and Ophelia Means of Tuscola, IL; his sister, Char (Rick) Bontrager of Oakland, IL, two brothers, Melvin (Sue) Kirkpatrick of Mooresburg, TN and Carl (Michelle Trent) Kirkpatrick of Bowling Green, KY. Many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, George Joseph Kirkpatrick III and a grandson, Clio Means. Floyd was a carpenter and had his own business for over 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, going boating and camping, but really, Floyd just enjoyed being with his girls, grandchildren, family and friends.
