Eugene Buford

Eugene Buford, 78 of Bowling Green died February 17, 2020 at the Medical Center. Mr. Buford, a Warren County native was born April 28, 1941. He was the son of the late John M. Buford, Sr and Alma Lightfoot Buford. Mr. Buford was a veteran of the United States Army. He had a love for animals having worked in veterinarian services for many years. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Leroy Beasley; his sisters: Carrie Pearson, Annie McDonald, Essie H. Martin, Lillie Mae Wilson and Josephine K. Buford Carpenter and his brothers: Charles W. Buford and John M. Buford. Mr. Buford is survived by his children: Steven Buford, Marie (Jerris) Beasley-Coleman, Antonio Buford, James (Stephanie) Beasley, Thomas Beasley, Sheila Beasley and Autra Beasley (Jimmy); 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Eugene Buford will be held on Monday, February 24, 2020 at 1 pm at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Monday from 10 am until time of services. The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home with arrangements.
