Ellen Thompson

Dinah Ellen Thompson 63, Woodburn died August 29, 2022, at the Medical Center. The Franklin, Ky native was the daughter of the late Gilbert Wilson Cherry and Annie Verna Green Cherry. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Heather Holman and two brothers: John Cherry and Timmy Cherry. Ellen is survived by her husband, Jim Thompson; a son, James Thompson; her grandchildren: Alex Holman, Dee Dee Butts and Adalea Thompson as well as her great granddaughter, Agalina LaGoshi. She is also survived by her sisters: Betty, Ann, and Joe. The warmth of her love will be missed by her family because her sunshine was the warmest place on earth. We love you Mama. Graveside services for Ellen Thompson will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022, at 1 pm in Woodburn Cemetery. The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane) with arrangements.
