Ellen Bratcher

Ellen Lavina Bratcher, 89 of Bowling Green went to be with her Lord and Savior February 12, 2020, surrounded by her family. She was born September 30, 1930 to the late John and Edna Johnson. Ellen was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Ruby Leon Bratcher; her son Rickey Allen Bratcher, daughter-in-law Rhonda Faye Bratcher, son-in-law Duddy Owen Edwards, great grandchild Brooke Renee Bratcher, six brothers and four sisters. Ellen is survived by her sons: Mickey Bratcher (Teresa), Glenn Bratcher (Ramona), daughters: Darlene Geron (Lewis) and Jackie Edwards; her grandsons: Kevin Geron, Jeffrey Geron, Michael Bratcher, Landon Bratcher, Johnny Bratcher, Tyler Bratcher and Wesley Bratcher; granddaughters: Melissa Eden, Angel White, Linda Humes, Tammy Geron and Heather Keith; 15 great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren, a brother Robert Johnson (Diane), and numerous nieces and nephews. Ellen loved the Lord, her family and was always willing to help others. She enjoyed sewing, making crafts and was a member of United Calvary Baptist Church. Funeral service will be Monday February 17, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Cone Funeral Home with burial to follow at Bowling Green Gardens. Visitation will be Monday February 17, 2020 from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home. The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home with arrangements.
