On Tuesday June 11, 2019 Drexel Wayne Hoffman joined our heavenly father at the age of 61. His big heart and personality led him to always to put others above himself. Wayne's positive influence on our community and those he helped will never be forgotten. Born on June 2, 1958 in Washington, DC to the late Drexel D. Hoffman and Carmin N. Hoffman. Wayne spent his early years in East Point, Ga and then moved to Bowling Green, Ky before finding he life's calling. After a brief stint selling insurance in the early 1990s, he began practicing substance abuse counseling. Wayne was active in the community and had a passion for helping others. He loved football and was a successful racquetball player. Wayne was survived by his five children Sara E. Hoffman, Christina D. Spradlin, Drexel A. Hoffman, Joseph A. Hoffman, and Kara Kashea Turner, his brother Bradley D. Hoffman, his sister Tammy Lancina, and his six grandchildren Christina J. Spradlin, C. M. Elijah Spradlin, S. Hannah N. Stamper, D. Eaden Spradlin, Isaac T. Spradlin and Jeremy M. Krawchuk Jr. Wayne was preceded in death by Michael Conner Veach. The service will be held on June 27th from 4-6pm at Hillview Heights Church in Bowling Green Ky.
