Mrs. Dora Zelma Johnson, age 94, of Bowling Green, KY, passed away peacefully at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, KY. The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home with arrangements. A private graveside service will be held at Noah Johnson Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside her husband. Dora was born on June 21, 1929, in Ohio County, KY, to the late Woodie Evans and the late Sugie Mae Burden. She is also preceded in death by her husband Noah Johnson, Jr. , of fifty years; five siblings, Rhethard Evans, Rudolph Evans, Lora Evans Jones, Alma Evans Gardner, and Ethie Evans Annis and one grandson, Nathan Okelberry. She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Johnson Okelberry of Bowling Green, KY; son, Samuel Johnson of Greenwood, IN; five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Dora was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for all her adult life. She was a homemaker. She loved making crafts, especially sewing, painting and drawing. Dora enjoyed taking care of her lawn and landscape and she found joy in refurbishing furniture and going for long walks. She was a very hard worker and loved doing for others. Dora loved her family dearly and was a great neighbor and friend.
