David O'Neal Britt David O'Neal Britt was born, June 28, 1962 in Bowling Green, Ky. On Tuesday, June 20, 2017, David passed away at his residence in Bowling Green. He graduated Bowling Green High School in 1980 and worked for York and Miller Realtor for over ten years. David was a son of the late Lawrence Smiley and Ruth Marie Britt. Besides his parents, David was preceded in death by his grandparents, Scott and Malinda Britt and Henry Jewell Smiley and Virgina Smiley Corbitt. David's memory will be cherished by his children Devan Byrd and Paige Byrd both of Bowling Green, KY, and Faith Byrd of Louisville, KY; his step- children, Keely Jones, Kim (Tshi-Tshi) Jones-Mbuyi and Meagan Jones all of Nashville, TN, and Cicely Jones of Clarksville, TN. Other survivors include three brothers: Clinton (Kathy) Britt, Madison, TN; Marcus (Wanda) Britt of Bowling Green, KY, and Mark Smiley of Cave City, KY; two sisters, Charlotte Britt and Anna (David) Barbee both of Bowling Green, KY; four aunts, Mary (Robert) Lewis, Maratha (Ernest) Boards, Nannie Mae Cook all of Bowling Green, KY and Gertrude Britt of Indianapolis; three uncles, Scott A. Britt, Johnny (Sarah) Britt and Jerry Britt all of Bowling Green, KY. A host of nieces, nephews, family and friends also survive. The visitation for David Will be held Friday June 23, 2017 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 noon at Mt Zion Baptist Church (175 Graham Drive Bowling Green, KY 270 - 781-2569) The service that will celebrate David's life will be held at 12:00 Noon at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Burial will be in Bowling Green Gardens. David's arrangements have been entrusted to Cone Funeral Home (270) 904-4201 .
