Cynthia Ann Knotts, 64 of Bowling Green, Ky died August 2, 2022, at the Medical Center. The Akron, OH native was the daughter of the late Samuel Richard Martin and the late Patricia Ann Dowdy. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Knotts whom she adored. Cynthia was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving caregiver for many years and was a hard worker. Cynthia was very direct, and you didn’t have to wonder what she was thinking. . . . she could be sarcastic. She was very caring and was the best mommy, momma and ma and always there when her family needed her. Cynthia was fiesty, fun loving, kind, strong and smart. She loved the sunshine especially in her own pool. Cynthia is survived by her children: Kayla Knotts and Troy Knotts; her sisters: Kathy Bailes and Dawn Martin as well as her brother, Timothy Richard Martin. Other survivors include her stepmother, Dorothy Martin; her step children, Sara Elizabeth Harzfeld and Michael Jay Knotts II and several nieces and nephews. The family has chosen cremation and has entrusted Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane) with arrangements.
