Bonnie Sue Hosman Yopp, 89, of Bowling Green, Kentucky passed this life peacefully on September 18 at the Southern Kentucky Hospice Center. Other prominent places she lived were Jonesboro, Arkansas and Gainesville, Florida.
Bonnie, daughter of Floyd L. Hosman and Fannie Sue Lloyd Hosman, grew up on a cotton farm in Cardwell, Missouri. She was the wife of Dr. James Lewis Yopp (1935-2015). Bonnie enjoyed being the wife of a Church of Christ preacher and a teacher’s assistant in Florida. Bonnie was preceded in death by her beloved brother Clennon Ray Hosman.
She was the mother of four children: Doug (Jill) Yopp, of Vass, North Carolina, Lisa Yopp of Bowling Green Kentucky, Terry Lynn Yopp (preceded in death) of Kenneth, Missouri, and Rene Yopp of Gainesville, Florida.
She was grandmother to James (Yanjin) D. Yopp, Jr. of San Francisco, Steven (Emily) Yopp of Carthage, North Carolina, Cynthia Yopp of Essex Junction, Vermont, Phillip Dillinger of Tampa, Florida and Kathryn (Daniel) Reetzke of Franklin Kentucky. She was a great-grandmother to nine. Valen Yopp, Sterling Buckpitt, Carter Yopp, Claire Yopp, Clarke Yopp, Chloe Reetzke, Elizabeth Reetzke, Ruthanne Reetzke and Daniel Reetzke.
