Bobby Mann

Bobby Gene Mann, 85, of Bowling Green, Ky passed away peacefully on February 27, 2019. Born November 28, 1933 in Simpson County, Kentucky he was the son of the late Carl Mann Sr. and Naomi (Mann) Holland. Bobby was active in his community both as a member of the Oakland Masonic Lodge for over 40 years and as the owner of a landscaping business that serviced the residents of Bowling Green for close to 25 years. He was also a member of Grace Baptist Church. Bobby is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Lois; along with two children, Victor (Paula) Mann of Bowling Green, Kentucky and Alicia (Butch) Wilson of Park City, Kentucky; siblings, Donald Mann of Orlando, Florida; Melvin Mann of Tennessee and Bessie Bledsoe of Bowling Green, Kentucky, along with 13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by sisters: Louise Connor, Eddie Joyce Mann, Shirley Wilson, Cora Penders and Lucille Hand; brothers: Carl Mann, Jr and William Mann: sons, David and Bobby Dale Mann and great-granddaughter, Karleigh Cellmer-Gray. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 11:00 a. m. at Cone Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Friday, March 1, 2019 from 5:00 - 9:00 p. m. with Masonic service at 7:00 p. m. and from 9:00 a. m. Saturday until time of service. Burial will be in Bowling Green Gardens Cemetery. Cone Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
