Betty Vollman

Elizabeth “Betty” Vollman, 69, of Bowling Green, KY, was born on October 29, 1952, in Greenville, KY, to the late Mack Henry Willis and Mary Virginia Willis. She passed from this life on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at her home surrounded by family and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Judy Willis. Betty is survived by her daughter, Sarah McCoy; her granddaughter, Jessie McCoy Lee (Mason); her sisters, Mary Willis Moss, and Lillie Willis Hall (Doug); and her nieces and nephews, Shelia and Eric, Harold and Vonda, Steve and Tina, Donna and Rick, and Wayne and Peggy. Elizabeth was known as Betty, or Grandma Betty, to everyone. In addition to her dedicated work as an accountant for a local electrical company, Betty made time to sew costumes and clothes for her beloved granddaughter, Jessie, along with other family and friends. She also found time to fulfill her passion for reading. As her granddaughter said, “Betty was a lot of things, most of all she was loving to everyone. ” The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Ln) with arrangements and chose cremation. There will be a public visitation at Cone Funeral Home on Friday, March 11, 2022, from 1 p. m. to 5 p. m. with a Celebration of Life at 5 p. m.
