Bessie Althous

Bessie Mae Althous Age 86 of Bowling Green, KY died Tuesday December 20, 2016 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green with her loving family by her side. Bessie Mae was born on March 16, 1930 in Warren County a daughter of Harm Carson and Lallie Bailey. She attended local schools. She had worked at Holley For several years, then worked at the Medical Center and MEDCO . She married Robert E Smith and after he died she married David Althouse. Bessie May was a member of Stoney Point Baptist Church in Smith's Grove, KY. Bessie May was preceded in death by her parents; Harm and Lallie Carson, her husbands: Robert E. Smith and David Althouse, her Four Sisters: Lucille Lewis, Mildred Bailey, Flora Dunn, Maggie Hudson, and her Five Bothers: Herman Carson, J. C. Carson, Stanley Carson, Frank Carson, and Brider Cason. The Visitation for Bessie Mae will be held Monday December 26, 2016 from 9:00 AM until 1 PM at the Cone Funeral Home (1950 Campbell Lane). The Service that will celebrate Bessie May's life will be at 1:00 PM on Monday December 26, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Barren River Baptist Church Cemetery in Warren County.
