Mrs. Barbara Ann Lowe, age 82, of Bowling Green, KY, went home to be with her Savior at The Medical Center at Bowling Green, KY, on Saturday, August 28, 2021. Barbara was born on December 6, 1938, in Warren County, KY, to the late Leo Neal Parker and the late Mable Parker. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Parker and her sister, Ruth Schaeffer. She is survived by her life partner and caretaker of 35 years, Joe Carter of Bowling Green, KY; 4 sons, Danny Lowe (Sharon) of Rich Pond, KY, Donnie Lowe (Edie) of Bowling Green, KY, Dale Lowe (Samantha) of Fort Pierce, FL, and Tommy Cherry of Bowling Green, KY; Grandchildren, Heather Johnson, Nicole Aultz (Brandon), Travis Lowe (Sam), Donny Lowe (Angela), Trevor Lowe (Susan) and Brandon Lowe; great-grandchildren, Palmer, Barrett, and Liam Lowe, Rylan Aultz, Bella and Gabe Johnson; siblings, Patsy Wimpee (William) of Bowling Green, KY, John Parker (Brenda) of Smiths Grove, KY, and Eugene Parker (Linda) of Bowling Green, KY. Barbara was a member of Lehman Church of Christ in Bowling Green and was a home maker most of her life. She believed in living simple and always remaining humble. She lived for her children and the whole crew of sweet grands and great grands. She loved babysitting and taking care of and raising foster children. She loved them all so much and her heart had a type of love no one could replace. Barbara was raised up and worked on a farm. She liked to garden and canned her harvest. She loved going fishing and making trips to get goods from the Mennonites. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane) with arrangements. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Funeral Services for Mrs. Barbara Lowe will be on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Cone Funeral Home at 1:00 PM with burial to follow at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
