Anita Hopkins

Anita Kay Hopkins, 51 of Bowling Green died February 6, 2020 at the Medical Center. The Bowling Green native was the daughter of the late Paul Wendell Martin and Joyce Ann Harpool. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Paula Martin. Anita loved her family, especially her grandchildren and flowers. She is survived by her husband, Neal Hopkins; her children: Monica Nicewinter (Beau), Kayla Richardson (Shelby) and Paul Staples (Shandi); her grandchildren: Kaeden Nicewinter, Isaiah Nicewinter. Ezra Nicewinter and Amelia Richardson. Other survivors include her brothers: Wendell Martin (Brenda) and Tommy Martin; her sister, Rhonda Gadberry (Luke); her stepfather, Jimmy Harpool; her stepsons: Blake Hopkins and Christian Hopkins and her mother in law, Brenda ""Granny"" Hopkins. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral services for Anita Kay Hopkins will be held on Monday, February 10, 2020 at 3 pm in the chapel of Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane) with burial in Mt Lebanon Presbyterian Church.
