Alicia Edwards, age 50, of Auburn, KY, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022, at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Alicia’s wishes were to be cremated. There are currently no services scheduled at this time. Alicia was born in Bowling Green, KY, to the late Silas Staley, Jr. , and to Janet Staley who survives and resides in Auburn, KY. She is also preceded in death by her husband, James Lewis Edwards, Jr. Besides her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Taylor Yates (Casey) of Auburn, KY, and Meagan Edwards (Tyler Strader) of Russellville, KY; a special daughter, Katherine “Kat” Goodmen (Nick) and their daughter Nova McCartney of Auburn, KY; three grandchildren, Bryson Yates, Jacksan Yates, and Mason Strader; three sisters, Melissa Hanna, Cindy Staley, and Brittany Staley. Several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews also survive. Alicia was of Baptist Faith and was baptized at a young age. She was a homemaker and loved her family and grandchildren dearly. She was very artistic and loved crafty things. She took up wood burning, painting, and putting things together. She was a animal lover and would rescue any wild critter. She loved her two dogs, Bella and Chewy and her cat, Molly. She loved being at home and watching Disney movies with her grandchildren.
